Rosie is a watercolour artist celebrated for her exquisite floral paintings that capture the delicate beauty of nature.
This year she exhibits a series of watercolour and pencil portraits entitled ‘50 Something’, after contacting the Seven Dials Community Noticeboard to find local women over 50 to sit for portraits in her studio.
"Having been painting flowers over the last few years, it’s been invigorating to paint people again. I have loved listening to these women who I’ve never met before, hearing about their lives while I paint. Getting to know the sitters in an intimate yet casual one on one situation has helped me to bring a depth of character to these portraits."
