Lady in pencil
This is Lilya Brik from an old black and white photograph I found in Secolul XX, an old romanian culture journal that was very popular in the art world. Lilya was a Russian author and socialite, connected to many leading figures in the Russian avant-garde between 1914 and 1930. She was the lover and muse of Vladimir Mayakovsky, even while she was married to poet, editor and literary critic Osip Brik.
Original artwork in 10 limited edition Giclee signed and numbered prints.
Size is aprox 30 × 40 cm.
Printed on quality Giclee paper SOMERSET VELVET 225gsm: A bright white, 100% cotton paper with a natural surface texture. A stunning paper which gives artwork and photography a wonderfully elegant feel. Acid and lignin free for archival standards.
Framed photos are only for guidance, the artwork will arrive rolled in a medium duty cardboard postal tube, for a flat fee of £7. Please choose this option at checkout.
